JOB SUMMARY:     The Office Manager is responsible for the day to day running of the office functions.  This includes supervision of the non-physician staff and coordinating with physicians.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Balances and reconcile books at the end of the day
  • Coordinates with the hospital in purchasing materials and supplies
  • Serves as patient care coordinator
  • Runs end of the month financial reports
  • Handles bank deposits
  • Responsible for all employee confidential files
  • Responsible for all employee time sheets
  • Handles all accounts payable and receivable
  • Handles all patient complaints with physician
  • Trains employees on computer usage
  • Ensures office compliance with OSHA/JCAHO regulations
  • Ensures office compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Supervises assigned office employees
  • Opens mail checks
  • Markets the practice
  • Ensures physician signed with applicable insurance companies.  Keeps status/update of insurance contracts.

QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate; Experience in a physicians practice or clinic.
