JOB SUMMARY: The PC Support Tech fields Information Technologies department calls, troubleshoots, documents and resolves IT related issues. The Tech must work in timely and efficiently while ensuring attendance, quality, and customer service needs are met.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer incoming calls and log all customer questions and issues accurately and efficiently into ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network related issues as well as industry specific software and customer specific applications
  • Provide restorative or maintenance actions to resolve end-user issues
  • Assist with defining and documenting knowledge base articles
  • Assist with special project work as needed
  • Will escalate problems to the next level of support when necessary
  • Helps in identifying system deficiencies and analyzes system problems and solutions
  • Participates in the on-call 24x7x365 and hospital after hours and weekend on-call duties rotation for I.T. department when required

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or Information Systems preferred; A+ Certification preferred

    Experience: Previous successful customer service experience; Previous help desk or call center experience required; Hospital experience preferred; Previous IT troubleshooting work history, education or hands on experience
