JOB SUMMARY:      The Human Resource Specialist performs a variety of duties related to benefits and maintaining the Human Resource Information System.  This includes processing payroll changes, maintaining the human resource information system, handling workers' compensation claims, handing FMLA designations, preparing benefit remittances, resolving payroll and benefit problems, and other related duties.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:    College degree preferred.  Medical insurance experience required. Workers Compensation insurance and Family and Medical Leave (FMLA) experience preferred. Computer experience including Word, Excel and PowerPoint needed.
